Jade Carver's Studio is a building found in Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom.
Background[]
In most missions, Jade can be imported from a trade partner and turned into Carved Jade. The Jade Carver is responsible for converting the raw Jade crystals into the Carved Jade, which is a very profitable export.
A Jade Carver Studio holds a maximum of four Jade at any time. Therefore, if only 12 Jade can be imported from a city, three Studio's will create 12 Carved Jade, producing a healthy profit.
Xi Wang Mu, one of the Daoism heroes, can bless the studio and fill it with Jade. This can be very useful in missions with limited starting funds, as three studios filled with jade can provide a useful export and homage gift to keep the Ancestor Heroes from getting upset.
